Cannabis company Culta opens latest retail location in Howard County

Cannabis company Culta opens latest retail location in Howard County

Cannabis company Culta has signed a lease with Dobbin LLC, at 6695 Dobbin Road in , and recently opened its newest retail operation within an approximately 2,000 square foot space.

The Bethesda-based concept, which operates three dispensaries in the state, joins existing tenants Cushwa Brewing Company, brick oven pizza restaurant Rad Pies, national ax throwing franchise Stumpy’s Hatchet House, and Columbia Scuba to elevate occupancy of the one-story, 25,000 square foot building to 100%.

Kate Jordan, SIOR, principal; Marley Welsh, SIOR, principal; and Samantha Eckels, associate of Lee & Associates Maryland, represented the landlord. JLL’s Rob Freedman represented the tenant in the transaction.

Adults in Maryland have legally been able to purchase and consume cannabis and related products since last July and, according to the Maryland Cannabis Association, sales of cannabis products have eclipsed $460 million to-date this year.
