Fire damages Holy Frijoles restaurant in Baltimore
Associated Press//August 15, 2016//
A fire has damaged the popular Baltimore restaurant Holy Frijoles.
Restaurant owner Geoffrey Danek tells local media that the fire started just before 2 a.m. Monday in the kitchen of the restaurant, located in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood.
No one was injured in the fire.
Danek says Holy Frijoles normally would have been open at the time of the fire, but it closed early at 1 a.m. after a relatively slow night.
He says all the kitchen appliances had been turned off, and doesn’t know how the fire started. The Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
It’s unclear how long the restaurant will be closed.
