What’s the most important thing you do in your job?

I advocate for my clients’ interests. All day, every day!

What is one aspect of your profession you would like to change?

I would encourage lawyers on both sides of a case to be honest when dealing with their opponents. Lawyers must understand that their duty to abide by the rules of professional con duct is the most important thing in our profession and that once you destroy your reputation, nothing else matters.

If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?

I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was 10 years old, so I never imagined doing anything else. I enjoy putting things together, so maybe I would like to be an architect or a builder. Also, someone recently told me I was a “disrupter,” so maybe I could enter the business world. and create products that challenge existing technology.
